Biography
ABOUT SARA F. JORSLOVSara F. Jorslov is a Spanish artist working in the field of contemporary abstraction. Her practice explores the relationship between chance and intention, investigating how gesture, colour and emptiness contribute to the construction of images that evolve between spontaneity and structure. Through a process of selection and reduction, she develops compositions that balance presence and absence, matter and silence.Her work stems from a reflection on the need to reclaim moments of stillness and quiet in a culture shaped by excess and constant stimulation. Rather than describing or representing, her paintings propose a way of seeing grounded in synthesis, pause and the pursuit of balance. She has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions throughout Spain and aborad. Her work has been selected and shortlisted for numerous visual arts awards. -
