Véronique Locci

Véronique Locci is a French-American artist born in Nice. She lives and works between Los Angeles and France, where her works are produced in specialized workshops. Her practice focuses primarily on concave glass and mirror-polished stainless steel. She explores how a reflective surface can alter our perception of a place, capture natural light, and draw the viewer into the work. In her glass pieces, color is never a static background. It changes with the time of day, the architecture, and the viewer’s position. Each work becomes a shifting presence at the intersection of sculpture, mirror, and optical experience. 

Artistic approach. Bringing the outside in. Véronique Locci’s work is rooted in a direct relationship between light, color, and space. The concavity of the glass draws the eye toward a point of depth while reflecting an expanded and distorted view of its surroundings. The outside enters the interior. A window, a movement, or a variation in light is momentarily inscribed on the surface. The work never presents exactly the same image; it responds to its setting and evolves with it. This exploration transforms the mirror into sculpture. Reflection is no longer simply a reproduction of reality: it becomes a visual, colored, and ever-changing material.
